The mission of the New Jersey Neuropsychological Society is to foster the advancement of neuropsychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting health and human welfare in an atmosphere that supports the diversity of its members and society at large.
To implement this mission, the Society shall aim:
• to provide a forum for psychologists and members of other professions interested in brain-behavior relationships to discuss research and clinical issues and professional concerns regarding the practice of neuropsychology
• to provide continuing education regarding neuropsychology
• to increase the visibility of neuropsychology within psychology and among other professions
• to provide skills to help its diverse constituencies navigate and prosper in the evolving public and private practice domains
• To provide support and a community for our diverse members in various stages of their professional development
• To provide education and resources to the public about brain development, brain related disorders, and healthy practices across the lifespan
